In this position you will provide full-spectrum Aircraft Fleet Management and Sustainment Support to the PC-12NG Knight Ryder Foreign Military Sales (FMS) sensor systems acquisition programs within the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in the identification of requirements to support the acquisition, sustainment and supportability improvements required from aircraft program initiation through initial operational capability and continued sustainment to bed down of the weapon system in a foreign country.

Apply the full range of aircraft platform acquisition and sustainment program management principles, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of activities to include pre- and post-contract award and milestone reviews in support of the existing and future FMS International Support Branch programs.

Support management of the acquisition, sustainment and modifications thereof as well as all associated requirements as they pertain to other functional areas including aircraft management, logistics, contracting, engineering, finance, and configuration management.

Assist in the development and execution of Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), LOA Amendments and Modifications, Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statement (PWS), Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and  inherently related activities including but not limited to: interfacing with FMS stakeholders, contractors, requirements determinations, production of documentation for release, foreign disclosure, pricing and availability, LOA line structure, payment and delivery schedules, congressional notifications, LOA line notes, and the staffing and coordination of waivers and associated documentation.

Apply the principles, criteria, and procedures of the DoD to include DoD 5000.01 and DoD 5000.02 as well as the policies and processes of USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, ISR & SOF Directorate, through the ISR Sensors Division level to all tasks.

 Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

This position includes both telework and government-site work requirements.

A High School Diploma or GED plus 20 years of experience, an Associate's Degree plus 14 years, or a Bachelor's Degree plus 12 years of experience is required.

Requires a Secret security clearance (adjudicated within the past five years) on the first day of employment.

Experience working aircraft acquisitions and sustainment in the government program office environment.

Occasional US and international travel is required.

Applicant selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Of the total relevant experience, a minimum of 4 years managing aircraft programs in a DoD acquisition and/or sustainment environment, including at least 6 months of hands-on experience managing aircraft and aircraft functional systems is required.

Possess the ability to understand and assimilate highly complex technical information (aircraft technical manuals, publications, technical data), aircraft status, aircraft modifications and assist in the assessment, operational planning, testing, and transition of technology to support new USAF programs of record.

Desired Skills:

Military Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent (or equivalent) experience preferred.

Familiarity with multiple intelligence disciplines to include, but not limited to: Avionics systems, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Hyperspectral Imaging, and Sense and Avoid (SAA) Systems.
