This is an opportunity to join a fast paced program with DCS Corp’s U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Ground Vehicle Systems Center engineering group located in Warren, MI. As an experienced Software Engineer, you will work alongside our U.S. Army Software Engineering Center customer, applying your knowledge and skills by providing technical engineering services that support the needs of designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface on projects.

Essential Job Functions:

Software Development following standard software processes.

Communication skills required to interface with systems and software development engineers as well as customer.

Design software following defined architectures.

Required Skills: 

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required. 

Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance..

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience.

Investigation of software reports to replicate and trouble shoot defects in software.

Strong C++ skills (Including up to C++14).

Strong development with UI Toolkits, particularly Qt.

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Development.

Familiarity with Linux Development.

Able to write and perform tests, both unit and system, in a lab environment.

Desired Skills:

Experience in the software load & verification, controls / UI.

Experience with JAUS/IOP, Linux, or Embedded Systems.
